After we finished reading The Giver, we had to make a project about the book. I decided to make a book trailer, and here it is.

In Math we had to make a video teaching someone else something we've learned this year. I made a video on how to multiply integers.

Shirt Limerick (Free Choice)
I just love my brand new shirt
But I dropped it in the dirt
I can't wear it now
So I wear a frown
My heart is forever hurt
Dog Limerick
My puppy is so cute and sweet
I've decided to name him Pete
But I got a knife
He had a good life
And so, oh goodbye to sweet Pete

Chinatown Clown
Chinatown
Clown
The other
day in Chinatown
I saw a
scary looking clown
He had
those scary massive shoes
And tried
to drink up all my booze
I tried to
run away from him
But then he
said, “It’s cousin Tim!”
I asked him,
“Why are you a clown?”
He said,
“My bossman let me down.”
I said to
him, “Well that’s a shame.”
“I know,”
he said, “It’s pretty lame.”
I probably
should go right now
“Good bye,”
he said and took a bow.
Then I went
home from Chinatown
And thought
of Tim that silly clown
I hope I’ll
see him sometime soon
Maybe I’ll
meet him on the moon.

Eyes
Eyes By: Jaclyn Patton
Eyes
often
change
Interesting spaces
between them,
Listening
to hidden stories
Forever
living
trapped by
Little
Time
Passing
But silenced
by words
Created by eyes

Is Somebody Singing Lip Dub! I.S.S.
/
This is a lip dub we helped make, and it was really fun! This song was sung and written by the Barenaked Ladies and Commander Chris Hadfield who is currently in the I.S.S. and the first Canadian commander Thanks to Dean Shareski for editing and putting the video together! You can check out his blog here: http://ideasandthoughts.org he is very funny and posts about neat things. I had fun making this and I hope our class can make one again soon!

Pet Incident
My Grandpa has always liked cats, but he’s never owned an indoor cat. One day out on his deck was a cat looking in through the window. She looked hungry and scared. So, Grandpa went outside to catch it. But as soon as the cat saw movement, it ran away as fast as its little legs could carry it. The next day, Grandpa took some cat food and left it on his deck for the cat. Soon, the cat came and started eating the food.
For the next year, Grandpa would put food out on the deck and the cat would come eat. But, one time he put the bowl just inside the door with the door opened. The cat came and looked in through the open door, and stepped inside and started eating. So, every day, Grandpa would move the bowl inside by just a little bit and the cat would come right inside and eat. After a while, the cat got so far inside the house Grandpa could lightly pet her.
One time when my Grandma wasn’t home and the cat was inside eating, Grandpa moved a bit too fast and scared the cat. Instead of running back outside, the cat ran down the hallway and down the stairs. When she was down there she peed in the plants and on the floor and when she was done in the basement she ran upstairs to my grandparents bedroom and peed on my Grandmas pillows and blankets. Grandpa chased her down to the basement for the night and would get rid of her in the morning. In the morning, he called my older brother and I to come over and help him with something. When we got there, he asked us to go downstairs and get the baby gates, which we did, and when we came upstairs we asked what they were for. He told us what had happened the night before with the cat. He had chased it upstairs and it was hiding underneath a bookcase. So My older brother went upstairs with a broom and Grandpa and I held up the baby gates at the bottom of the stairs, making a short path to the door so the cat would go out. All of a sudden, we heard a crash and hissing, then the cat came flying down the stairs and out the door.
Then we cleaned Grandma’s sheets and plants for her, and decided not to tell her about the cat pee. When Grandma came home we all had a good laugh about it. Now we feed the cat out on the deck with the door tightly closed.
;) The End
